Whether it’s Fall Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, or the sun-soaked days of Summer, our camps are designed to keep kids active, engaged, and smiling from drop-off to pick up.

From themed activities and outdoor adventures to hands-on crafts and team games, every day is a new opportunity to learn, grow, and play in a safe, inclusive environment. With locations across Fishers, including the Fishers Community Center, Hamilton Southeastern Schools, and local parks—there’s a camp for every interest and every season. Join the fun. Make memories. FALL BREAK CAMP

Adventure Awaits in Every Leaf! Pack your flannel and lace up your boots—The Great Fall Escape is your camper’s ticket to a week full of crisp air, colorful leaves, and outdoor excitement! This fall-themed adventure camp is all about exploring the season through hands-on activities, nature challenges, and cozy camp traditions. Each day will bring a new surprise, from creative crafts to outdoor games that celebrate the magic of autumn. Campers will dive into the wonders of the season with scavenger hunts, forest games, and fall-inspired science fun. They’ll build friendships, explore the outdoors, and create lasting memories surrounded by the beauty of fall. We’ll wrap up the week with a special Friday field trip to a local fall-themed destination!

Ages: 5-12 years old
Session Price: $199.50 for residents/ $285 for non-residents

CAMPS FAQ’S

What are the camp hours?

Camp hours vary depending on the type of camp:
– Half-Day Camps: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
– Full-Day Camps: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (depending on the specific camp)
– Exact times will be listed in each camp’s description during registration.

What should my child bring each day?

To help your child have a fun and successful day at camp, please make sure they bring the following items each day:
– Reusable water bottle (labeled with their name)
– Shelf stable lunch and snacks
– Sunscreen (applied before camp and packed for reapplication) (Weather permitting)
– Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing
– Closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops)
– Backpack to carry their belongings
– Extra set of clothes
Please label all items with your child’s name. We recommend leaving valuables and electronics at home.

Are meals and snacks provided?

City of Fishers Camps do not provide meals or snacks, so we ask that you pack the following for your child each day:
– Shelf-stable lunch
– Two snacks (one for the morning and one for the afternoon)
– A reusable water bottle (labeled with your child’s name)

Are electronics allowed at camp?

We strongly encourage campers to leave all electronics at home, including cell phones, tablets, gaming devices, and smartwatches. Camp is a time to unplug, explore, and connect with others through hands-on activities and outdoor play.

What should my camper wear to camp?

Campers should come dressed for active play and outdoor fun! Each day, please make sure your child wears:
– Their City of Fishers camp shirt (required daily)
– Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing
– Closed-toe shoes (like sneakers) for safety during games and activities
– Clothes that can get messy — we’ll be painting, crafting, and exploring!
– A hat or sunglasses for sunny days (optional but encouraged)
– Layers on cooler mornings, especially in spring or fall
Please label all clothing and personal items with your child’s name.

Are staff trained in CPR/First Aid?

Yes! All City of Fishers camp staff are certified in CPR and First Aid. Safety is our top priority, and our team is trained to respond quickly and effectively in the event of an emergency.

How are the campers grouped?

City of Fishers Camps follow the American Camp Association (ACA) guidelines for camper-to-staff ratios to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all campers. Our typical ratios are:
– 1 staff for every 6 campers (ages 5-6)
– 1 staff for every 8 campers (ages 7–8)
– 1 staff for every 10 campers (ages 9–14)
These ratios help us provide personalized attention, maintain safety, and create meaningful connections between campers and staff.

Each campsite will have a dedicated camp phone located on-site. These phone numbers will be shared in the camp newsletter you’ll receive before your child’s first day of camp.

What communication will I get before and during camp?

We want you to feel informed and connected throughout your child’s camp experience! Here’s what you can expect:

Before Camp Starts:
A welcome newsletter will be emailed the week before your child’s first day. It will include:
– Camp location details
– Drop-off and pick-up procedures
– What to bring
– Campsite phone number
– Staff introductions
– Weekly themes or special events

During Camp:
– Weekly newsletters with updates, reminders, and highlights from the week
– Direct communication from the Camp Manager or Head Counselor if needed (e.g., behavior updates, illness, or emergencies)
– Photos or updates via email or app (if applicable)
