The Fishers Community Center, Strengthened by IU Health, was thoughtfully designed to ensure everyone feels welcome and included. With accessible facilities, adaptive fitness equipment, and inclusive programming for all ages and abilities, the center reflects our commitment to creating a space where every member of the community can thrive.
Accessible features:
- Accessible fitness equipment
- Appointments
- Fit Start, EGYM, personal training, and small group training sessions are accessible for individuals who are hard of hearing, deaf, or non-English speakers
- An adult changing table room
- A zero-depth entry pool with dual handrails
- Water wheelchairs

Adaptive Programming

Adaptive Swim Lessons (Ages 5-16)
For ages 5-16, designed for individuals who face physical, cognitive, sensory, or behavioral challenges. Adaptive swim lessons are taught as semiprivate lessons and are highly individualized, adapting teaching methods and environments to meet each swimmer’s unique abilities and goals. Adaptive swim lessons are led by experienced instructors.
Member Rate: $80/session
Non-member Rate: $114.29/session
Start Date: Saturday, July 11, 2026
Schedule Options:
– Saturdays from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. , 9:45 – 10:15 a.m. , 10:30 – 11:00 a.m., 11:15-11:45 a.m.

Zumba for Every Body – Adaptive Zumba
This adaptive Zumba class is designed for individuals of all abilities to enjoy music, movement, and community in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you’re dancing in a chair, standing, or somewhere in between – you will be guided every step of the way. No experience needed – just bring your energy and your smile!

From 6:30-7:30 p.m. in FCC Program Rooms 2 & 3
FREE for members & nonmembers ages 13+
