New Reservation Guidelines

Beginning April 1, 2026, if you’re unable to attend a reservation, please cancel it in the app at least 90 minutes in advance.
Reservations that are not canceld in time and are not checked in within 15 minutes after the start time will be marked as a no-show.
Members or Community Pass holders who receive two no-shows within a 7-day period will be unable to make that type of reservation
for 14 days. All members and Community Pass holders need to do to be marked as “attended” is scan into the facility as normal.

Action Zone is our childcare center located on the first floor of our facility.

Up to two hours of childcare per day for every child listed on a membership is included in Charter Household Memberships and Household Plus Memberships.

You can upgrade to a Household Plus Membership that includes Action Zone for an additional $25/month

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 4 – 8 p.m.
Friday-Saturday: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

2 months – 12 years
Reservations are only required for the infant room (ages 2 months – 24 months only)

What type of membership do I need to be able to use Action Zone?

Charter Household Memberships and Household Plus Memberships. You can upgrade to a Household Plus Membership that includes Action Zone for an additional $25/month.

How many hours of childcare do I get per day?

– 2 hours per day
– If you arrive past your 2 hours, there is a $1 late fee per minute per child
– If you arrive past 1pm, there is a late fee of $1 per minute per child

Do I need to make a reservation?

– Reservations are required for our infant room only (ages 2 months – 24 months)
– You can make a reservation in the Fishers Community Center app
– Each block is 1 hour
– You are able to reserve up to 2 blocks at a time

How do I cancel my reservation if I cannot make it?

– Go to the Fishers Community Center app and click on the house icon on the home screen
– Under “Browse,” click on “My Schedule”
– Click “View Registration” and select “Can’t Go”

How do I check in?

You’ll need to scan your child’s barcode using the Fishers Community Center App. A team member will ask what time you plan to pick up your child, which will be used as the expected return time to help estimate wait times.

Since Action Zone is first-come, first-served, what is the wait list process?

The front desk staff will have you write your name and your child(s) name on the waitlist. They will give you a call once your child(s) spot has become available.

Our team tries very hard to keep children off waitlists, but each room must follow a ratio and fire marshal code for safety regulations.

What should I bring for my child while they are in Action Zone?

– Water bottles are permitted with a closable lid
– No outside food is permitted (infants are able to have food/snacks)
– Please bring a diaper bag with diapers/pull-ups, extra clothes, and wipes
– Staff will change diapers/pull-ups and help children who are potty training
– Staff are not able to apply diaper cream

What is there for my kids to do while they are at Action Zone?

– Crafts (rotated every 2 weeks)
– Sensory bin (rotated every month)
– Special Steam activities based on the season/holiday
– Toys and games
– Free play
– 10,000 sq. ft. fenced-in turf field (weather permitting)
– Indoor playground area for ages 4-12 years old
– Action Zone has its own indoor playground that is separate from the Fishers Communikty Center Indoor Playground, Strengthened by Riley Children’s Health
– Basketball gym for ages 2+ years old Monday-Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

What should I expect when it comes to the infant room (for ages 2 months – 24 months)?

– We are a peanut-free zone ( all snacks must be peanut-free)
– Staff will label any and all food that you have for your little one; please let them know when to feed your little one
– Staff will not microwave any food; we use a bottle warmer to warm up bottles only
– Staff will change diapers and document all changes
– Our cry policy is 15 mins. We will give parents a call if their child has been crying for 15 minutes. Parents can request a shorter or longer amount of time
