June Construction Updates

Road & Site Work

Hoosier Road & 121st Street Roundabout:
- The intersection is now closed for roundabout construction.
- Closure Duration: May 29 – August 5 (HSE summer break).
- This is a full intersection closure to accelerate construction.
- The roundabout will include raised and striped pedestrian crossing speed tables on all four legs, ensuring safe access for pedestrians and cyclists entering the campus.
Site Grading & Landscaping:
- Crews are using heavy equipment to complete final grading, install underground utilities, plant trees and landscaping, and begin irrigation installation.

The pool slide has been installed on the exterior of the building.
Tile work and mechanical component installation for the pools are nearing completion.

All three large play structure towers in our Indoor Playground area have been installed; internal components are in progress.

Finish flooring throughout the building is scheduled for completion by mid-July.

The hardwood gym floor is complete in one upstairs group exercise room; gym installation is underway and will be done by mid-June.
Casework installation and final painting are ongoing throughout the building.
Permanent lighting has been turned on in many areas.
Installation of finish doors is in progress.
